Parent/grandparent reunion immigration
Canadian parent reunification immigration application requirements
Canada's requirements for parental reunion immigration are relatively humanized. As a guarantor, you only need to meet the following three basic conditions:
· At least 18 years old;
· be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen currently residing in Canada;
· Meet the Canadian minimum income criteria for the past three years;
There are two points worth noting about the third income requirement:
· As long as the applicant's spouse is willing to co-sign the application, his/her income can also be combined (the co-signer must also be a Canadian citizen or PR)
· "Income" refers to pre-tax income. If Canadian income is insufficient, foreign income can also be included in the calculation after tax. Usually, this income is the value indicated on Line 150 on your tax return (Notice of Accessment).

application process
· When the application channel is open, submit a preliminary application intention on the official website of the Immigration Bureau, which is commonly known as "squatting";
· After the application intention is successfully submitted, the Immigration Bureau will confirm receipt and send an email to the guarantor;
· After that, you need to wait for the immigration office to issue an invitation, and the sponsor and the guarantor need to prepare the documents and forms required by the immigration office;
· All official documents and forms required by USCIS must be submitted within 60 days.
· If the application is eligible, the Immigration Department will apply for confirmation; if the application is incomplete, it will be returned and the quota will be wasted. If supplementary materials are required, the invitees need to supplement materials as required.
· If all goes well, you will need a medical examination, fingerprinting, and waiting for a passport notification in the mail.
· After the application is approved, you can get an immigration landing paper and a maple leaf card!
